The iHelp BR resource found in the watchOS 6 beta firmware data on the new Apple Watch Series 5 watches, made in ceramic and titanium cases. The announcement of a new generation of smartwatches is likely to take place on September 10, simultaneously with the presentation of the next generation of iPhone smartphones.
It is interesting that exactly a year ago, Apple refused the version of Apple Watch Edition with a ceramic case, and the version with a gold case was completely released only as part of the very first modification of the model. The return of the premium versions of the watches may indicate that the manufacturer has once again refined the manufacturing technology, having received higher characteristics at a lower price.
Note that the ceramic case is less durable than the metal, but it is much less susceptible to scratches. The titanium case in comparison with the stainless steel case will be more durable and lightweight, but also noticeably more expensive. The popularity of new watch models will depend primarily on their cost, since if there is too much difference, it will be easier to buy new watches of a standard model and replace them with new ones in case of damage.

According to KGI analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, individual batches of Apple Watch Series 5 watches will receive screens from the Japanese manufacturer JDI, while in 2019 there will be about 15-20% of the total orders, and by 2021 this number should rise to 70-80%. The Apple Watch Series 6, which will be announced next year, is expected to debut a new type of microLED screen.
