After more than five years, the Fez platformer got to iOS devices

Famous platformer Fez from the Canadian studio Polytron was released on Xbox 360 in April 2012 and has since visited many other platforms. But on iOS-based devices, it only appeared this week

As reported by the creators, work on the mobile version began only in April this year. It took eight months for the studio to “port and optimize the project on as many devices as possible.” To run the game you will need at least an iPhone 5s or iPad Air with an operating system iOS 8.

The best platformer looks on tablets with a resolution of 16: 9. If you run it on a device with a 4: 3 screen, Fez will play back with frames. At least, this is indicated by the screenshots on the page in the AppStore.

The main character moves with the help of “virtual controller buttons” – the authors did not manage to achieve the ideal result when trying to add gesture control. But you can turn the world by moving your finger across the screen. Unfortunately, users of Android-devices did not prepare such a gift – the studio does not plan to work on the version for this OS yet.
