The official release of the mobile version of the legendary MMORPG Lineage II in the US and Europe took place. On the night of November 14-15, the project with the subtitle The Revolution (formerly called Dawn of Aden and Project S) became available on the App Store and Google Play. Servers, among which four Russian, have already been launched, and the game has been signed by more than 1.5 million users. Recall that Lineage II: The Revolution, debuted a year ago, was available only in Asian countries.
Mobile Lineage II: The Revolution has retained most of the features of the PC version, including the creation of clans and the capture of fortresses (large-scale PvP-battles, in which up to 200 people can participate), but acquired a completely new storyline. In fact, the novelty is an independent story that unfolds in the same universe as the classic Lineage II. Among other things, the “Revolution” boasts impressive graphics for mobile projects: the engine Unreal Engine 4, which developed the game, produces a really beautiful and “juicy” picture.
By the way, most recently a trailer of a new part of Lineage for advanced platforms was introduced. The project, which was already in development for several years, was renamed Project TL, replaced the engine, included a number of new mechanics for the series, and became noticeably more dynamic. The release of a new part of the legendary MMORPG is scheduled for 2018. The exact date is not reported.
