New Far Cry will launch even on the PC’s last year

The company Ubisoft published the system requirements of the PC version of Far Cry 5. As you might expect, for a comfortable game with all the “bells and whistles” you need a really powerful computer, which not everyone can afford. However, this time the developers have worked hard at optimizing for low and medium settings, the shooter will work stably even on budget systems.

 

Minimum system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64 bit);
  • processor: Intel Core i5-2400 with a frequency of 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-6300 with a frequency of 3.5 GHz;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD R9 270 (2 GB of video memory with support for shaders 5.0);
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • resolution: 720p;
  • settings: low.

Recommended system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64 bit);
  • processor: Intel Core i7-4770 with a frequency of 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with a frequency of 3.2 GHz;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD R9 290X (4 GB of video memory, support for shaders 5.0);
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • resolution: 1080p;
  • Settings: high (60 FPS). 

System requirements for 4K at 30 FPS:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64 bit);
  • processor: Intel Core i7-6700 with a frequency of 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X with a frequency of 3.6 GHz;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD RX Vega 56 (8 GB of video memory, support for shaders 5.0);
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • resolution: 2160p;
  • settings: high.

System requirements for 4K at 60 FPS:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64 bit);
  • processor: Intel Core i7-6700K with a frequency of 4.0 GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 1700X with a frequency of 3.4 GHz;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI or AMD RX Vega 56 GFX (8 GB of video memory, support for shaders 5.0);
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • resolution: 2160p;
  • Settings: high / ultra.

How Far Cry 5 will go on the consoles and whether it will support the cherished 4K / 60 FPS on the same Xbox One X, has not yet been reported. The release of the game is scheduled for March 27 this year. The story unfolds around the confrontation between the inhabitants of the fictional city of Hope in the US state of Montana and the sect of mad religious fanatics.
