Taiwanese company ASUS has joined the trend of smartphones with almost foolproof displays, the ratio of which is 18: 9. Pegasus 4S became the first in the lineup of devices, which changed the familiar matrix 16: 9 to a new 5.7-inch panel with a resolution of 1440×720 (HD +). The gadget is characterized by a rather thin frame around the screen, a case with a thickness of 8.8 mm and a high-capacity battery at 4 030 mAh.
As for the features, the ASUS Pegasus 4S is similar to the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max (ZC550TL) smartphone already available to us. The system works with the eight-core MediaTek MT6750T processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. Depending on the modification, the user has 3 and 32 or 4 and 64 GB of operational and built-in memory, respectively.
On the back panel is a dual camera with 16 and 8 megapixels with its own LED flash. Just below the fingerprint scanner, for which there was no place under the display on the front panel. The Selphy Camera takes 8 megapixel resolution and 85 degrees wide viewing angle.
On the upper end there is a 3.5mm audio jack and a microphone, on the bottom there is a microUSB port and a speaker. By the way, the main camera almost does not go beyond the corps. “Out of the box” offers the operating system Android 7.0 Nougat. Support for two SIM cards, as well as the ability to work in networks FDD-LTE / TD-LTE / WCDMA / TD-SCDMA / CDMA2000 and GSM. In addition, the voice transmission in the fourth generation networks is possible thanks to the VoLTE function.
The limited release of ASUS Pegasus 4S in China is now reported on November 9. The smartphone will be available in gold and black colors. Expected value – less than $ 350.
