New Honor MagicBook notebooks enter global market

The sub-brand of Huawei introduced new models of laptops Honor MagicBook. At the presentation it was announced that they will appear on sale in different countries.

This is the first time the brand’s notebooks will enter the global market since previous versions of MagicBook were sold only in China. Novelties are presented by two models that are identical and differ only in size. The choice of buyers will be 14-inch and 15-inch laptops. Both options run on an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor. The new Honor MagicBook displays with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. Devices will be with 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of PCIe SSD. The graphics card is AMD Radeon RX Vega 10.

New items support Bluetooth 5.0, have ports USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB-Type C and HDMI. Both models will be available in two versions – with the operating system Windows or Linux. It is also reported that laptops support Honor MagicLink technology, which allows you to quickly share files with smartphones.

It is still unknown when the device sales will start, but at a presentation, their cost in China was announced. Of course, in the global market, laptops will most likely be more expensive, but we have an approximate guideline. So, the cost for a 14-inch model starts at $ 469, and for a 15-inch – from $ 511.
